Senate Confirms Obama Nominee to Federal Appeals Court

The Washington Post reports that “Senators voted 55 to 43 to confirm Robert L. Wilkins to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.”

This is President Obama’s fourth and final pick for the influential federal appeals court, which is considered a “stepping stone” to the Supreme Court.
