More Encouraging Signs for Obamacare

National Journal‘s  e-newsletter:  “More than 67 million individuals were enrolled in Medicaid in July 2014, according to the latest monthly report from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Since the Affordable Care Act’s first open enrollment began in Oct. 13, about 8 million additional people have enrolled in Medicaid. Enrollment is up about 14 percent overall compared to the average monthly enrollment between July and Sept. 2013, about 20 percent in states participating in Medicaid expansion, and about 5 percent in states that are not.”

Danny Vinik, in QED‘s e-newsletter, concludes: “It’s yet one more sign that Obamacare’s expansion of insurance coverage is working.”
