Also frequently terrified by people of a different race and/or religion who they’ve been told want to kill them.

I think I’m more likely to be pecked to death by a chicken then die from terrorism. Of course, I haven’t actually run the numbers and I might be wrong…

Well, terrorism affects elections, and the results of elections can sure as hell affect your life expectancy…..

Right, cause if Cruz wins I’m going to drink a case of beer and walk buck naked down the middle of the Schuylkill Expressway in Philly….

These statistics are meaningless. When a third of GOP voters wants to bomb a fictional country, per https://politicalwire.com/2015/12/18/a-third-of-gop-voters-want-to-bomb-fictional-country/ that means 10% of the polled doesn’t really understand the poll. They’re pretty much the same ones causing the <= 8% difference in levels of worry in this poll, too. If you look at it, these articles sound more like a ridiculing of the bottom end of the population. It's essentially being mean towards the less smart among us. That's hardly a useful exercise.

Wake up, you are more likely to be shot buy a domestic nut than an imported nut.

I think that Americans should worry about mass shootings by terrorist. Republicans keep saying that bad guys will get the guns, but we can make it hard for the bad guys to get WMDs (assault weapons and also bullets their go thru armored vest.)
